Firefox to the rescue

I’ve been using Firefox for about 6 months now, and am really happy with it.

What is Firefox and why do I use it?

Firefox is an alternative Internet Browser that is a great substitute for the security-riddled Internet Explorer.

This all goes back to the issue of spyware. You see, a lot of spyware will attach itself to Internet Explorer in the form of search bars and the like. I’ve seen some computers where Internet Explorer has three of four different search bars, all designed to spy on the computer, all slowing the computer down and causing it to malfunction.

Firefox doesn’t have these problems, yet it is very similar in look and feel to Internet Explorer. It’s clean, simple and does the job. It is also much better than the bulky, slow Netscape browser.

Firefox is free and available to download from the Internet. You can get it at
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox.

However, even though you have Firefox on your computer, you can still get spyware in other forms, so you still need to be a smart Internet user and you still need to use anti-spyware tools.
